

Curt Orso, AIA
Vice President and Principal Architect
Mr. Orso was born and raised in Herrin and he continues to live there with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of Herrin High School.
After High School, Mr. Orso attended Rend Lake Community College earning his Associates of Applied Science degree in Architectural Technology, and then Southern Illinois University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies.
Mr. Orso is licensed to practice Architecture in Illinois. He joined Architechniques in 2005, and in 2015 became a partner in the firm. In 2024 Mr. Orso was elected Vice President of Architechniques by the Board of Directors.
Mr. Orso has worked as Project Architect and Lead Technician of the firm’s Capital Development Board projects for the last eight years. This includes projects that involved facility assessments and required LEED Certifications. Mr. Orso has gained extensive experience in code review and facility Health-Life and Safety analysis. Mr. Orso is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has completed the State of Illinois' Capital Development Board Certification for Project Managers.
