

Lacey Young, NCARB, AIA
President and Principal Architect
Mrs. Young is from Marion, Illinois and lives with her husband and two children in Marion.
After graduating from Marion High School in 2001, she began her college education at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri majoring in Civil Engineering and Architecture. She then transferred to Southern Illinois University and continued in Architectural Studies. Mrs. Young earned her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies.
Mrs. Young joined Architechniques in 2006, and in 2014 became a partner in the firm. In 2024 Mrs. Young was elected President of Architechniques, by the Board of Directors.
Mrs. Young has performed as Lead Technician and Project and Principal Architect on many recent projects that include, renovations in the higher education and healthcare sectors as well as renovations on other construction projects for other uses. She is a Licensed Architect in Illinois, Florida and Wisconsin and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards which will allow for licensing in 45 other states. Mrs. Young is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has also completed the State of Illinois' Capital Development Board Certification for Project Managers.
